IMAC Systems, Inc. was established in 1978 by Donald E. Kohart Sr. with the help of Junius (Jay) Wilson, William Somers and Robert Calhoun. Five expansions and 25+ years later IMAC Systems, Inc. owns and occupies a modern 33,000 square ft. facility on the Delaware River in Tullytown, PA.
The facilities include a complete gas meter repair and calibration shop and a precision machine shop that specializes in close tolerance, sophisticated machining as well as the manufacturing of IMAC proprietary products.
IMAC Systems, Inc. is still a family-owned private business now three generations deep. This history has allowed IMAC Systems, Inc. to continue their dedication of providing the very best service and knowledge to help their customers in any way possible.
MISSION: To be the best at what we do and to continually seek means and methods to improve
THE IMAC PULSIMATIC TRANSMITTER is the economical way to transmit uncorrected volume output data from gas meters to remote totalizing and recording equipment. Available in ten different pulse outputs to fill most requirements, the PULSIMATIC TRANSMITTER has a virtually indestructible low profile that does not interfere with existing piping arrangement.
The IMAC Pulsimatic Transmitter fits all types of industrial/commercial size gas meters with vertical mechanical index (Diaphragm / Turbine / Rotary). The Pulsimatic Transmitter also acts as a secondary source of count if the meter index fails. For residential/domestic meters please see our Domestic Meter Pulser.
Many different options are available; please consult the literature for more information.
The IMAC switch tester is the ideal way to test switch performance.

The IMAC Remote Totalizer line is an inexpensive way to remote read, totalize, normalize, standardize, and retransmit pulses or obtain an instantaneous flow rate. The products featured are all made in America by IMAC Systems, Inc.
R-1 Remote Totalizer: Pulse counter / totalizer
R-2 Remote Totalizer: Pulse counter / totalizer with divide capability to allow a 1 cu. Ft gas = 1 count with different common pulse outputs on meters (divide capability of 2, 10, and 100)
R-3 Remote Totalizer: Fixed Factor Totalizer: Allows fixed factor to be preset and normalize, standardize or convert measurement units. Also useful for fixed factor pressure conversion to show the corrected volume. Features a Form C relay for corrected pulse output.
R-4 Remote Totalizer: Remote Totalizer with flow rate indication and analog output. Designed for use with low frequency or high frequency input capabilities. 4-20mA output proportional to flow rate. Displays either volume or flow rate.
*All IMAC Systems, Inc. Remote Totalizers are enclosed in a NEMA 4 rated case.
IMAC strainers act as the last line of defense, protecting expensive downstream equipment from dangerous line debris such as loose scale, weld beads, grit, and other damaging foreign material. Strainers are an inexpensive and highly effective way to prevent failures and damage to downstream equipment.
IMAC gasket strainers are the last line of defense, protecting expensive downstream equipment from dangerous line debris such as loose scale, weld beads, grit, and other damaging foreign material. Strainers are an inexpensive and highly effective way to prevent failures and damage to downstream equipment.
IMAC instrument filter dryers and cartridge refills provide cost effective instrument filtration for pneumatic controllers, heaters, enclosure systems, and other instruments. IMAC filter dryers accomplish filtration down to 4 microns and remove particles, moisture, H2S, odorant, and other impurities that can affect instrument performance.
Different assemblies are available that include pressure cuts (regulators), gas conditioning (catalytic heaters), automatic filter switching and drain valve.
Low pressure options are available as well.
IMAC Bleed Line Vent Deodorizers are disposable; atmospheric pressure, scrubbers meant for use on bleed lines of natural gas control instrumentation. The Bleed Line Vent Deodorizer installs on the vent port of control instrumentation that bleeds natural gas. The Activated Charcoal deodorizer removes odor from the natural gas helping to prevent leak call outs. This unit is designed for use on any system bleeding natural gas including pneumatic controllers, relief valves and regulators.
IMAC Odorant Tank Vent Scrubbers are high capacity, low pressure scrubbers designed for use on the breathing lines of odorant tanks. The odorant tank vent scrubber is an activated charcoal deodorizer designed to remove odorant from natural gas. The odorant tank vent-scrubbers come in a variety of sizes, interchangeable with most industry standards. The scrubbers main application is for deodorizing exhaust or breathing vents on odorization systems – to remove odor during filling, re-fill or normal operation.
IMAC Barlow Insulating Joints are welded in place for a permanent solution. They are tested and ready for installation.
Why Barlow Insulating Joints?
1. Preassembly eliminates kits, so no field assembly is required
2. Controlled assembly and pretesting eliminate adjustments and guarantees performance
3. Mechanical design resists the effects of stress and the resulting insulation failure
4. Every joint has stringent quality control, traceable with a unique, permanently marked serial number
5. Each joint provided with a certificate of testing
These Barlow joints are designed to the highest standards. For more details download the Barlow PDF below.
IMAC ALFA Monolithic Isolation Joints provide a positive leak-proof, long-lasting block against the flow of electric current in piping systems.
Why ALFA Monolithic Joints?
1. Over 30 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing monolithic joints
2. Factory manufactured and tested, so no field assembly is required
3. Mechanical design resists the effects of stress and the resulting insulation failure
4. Every joint has stringent quality control
5. Simplified serviceability and maintenance
6. Designed for considerable external loads (bending/torsion/axial) in addition to internal pressure
7. High safety design factor
For more details on sizing and additional options, download the ALFA PDF below.
